Megan Rapinoe is at the top of her success. This midfielder has been a big star of the USWNT, bagging world cups, golden boots, and a Ballon d’Or. Both as a teammate and as a player, she’s made significant contributions to Women’s soccer. While not ruling the soccer field, she is active on the social turf for women’s rights and equal pay. At 37, when a lot of athletes wrap up their careers, she is doing better than ever.
No wonder, her parents are exceptionally proud of her and all she stands for. In 2020, an episode of the podcast “Pretty Powerful in Pink” featured Rapinoe’s parents talking about her life and achievements. Inadvertently, the topic steered towards Sue Bird, the basketball player, and Megan’s partner.
