The tournament features fierce competition as well as 14 excelling teams. While some teams are surging ahead with dominance such as Nebraska and Wisconsin, some other teams have not tasted success like that. How Indiana’s Volleyball Team Causes Major Upset?

Indiana’s Volleyball team has achieved a major upset in the Big Ten Volleyball Championship. Eventually, they overtook the Purdue team for the first time since 2012. Thus, they made it to break a decade-long curve of losses. However, this remarkable victory signifies their triumph and their perseverance. In addition, Team Indiana also notched up an impressive two wins in the tournament, securing a .700 winning percentage (PCT). Although they have been listed just below Penn State in the Championship standings, they are yet to reflect a resurgence in the volleyball. Team Purdue, despite featuring some of the tournament’s best players, suffered a recent defeat by Team Indiana. The epic showdown resulted in Indiana’s favor with a resounding score of 3-1. 

Some essential players who locked horns were Taylor Anderson, Chloe Chicoine, Raven Colvin, and Eva Hudson. Moreover, the recent triumph marks the departure from their previous performance. Therefore, Indiana Volleyball’s recent upset win has shattered their 21-game losing streak and announced their resurgence in collegiate volleyball.

Team Indiana’s Way Ahead in the Tournament

Currently, Team Wisconsin and Nebraska are moving head-to-head in the tournament. Thus making it highly competitive for other teams to replace top-seed teams in the tournament. In addition, both teams feature an exceptional score of W15 streaks each and 1.000 PCT in the game. Recently, Wisconsin’s key players were also awarded as the volleyball Players of the Week in the Big Ten Championship.
