Maintaining its winning spree on the court, Nebraska Huskers once again stood victorious by clinching the win at the 2023 NCAA Sweet-16 opener. By trouncing Georgia Tech, the Huskers are now all set to grace their presence at the Regional finals.

Interestingly, Nebraska has made it to the top 16 by clinching a win over LIU and Missouri with a clean sweep 3-0. To maintain its dominance in the NCAA Tournament, Nebraska secured a spot in the top 8 by taking over the No. 5 Georgia Tech Volleyball team. In addition to this, Nebraska won the showdown while maintaining its remarkable score of 3-0.

Nebraska Huskers vs. Georgia Tech

In the top 16 NCAA Women’s volleyball showdown, team Nebraska entered the arena to compete with the opponent team Georgia Tech. Even though spectators were quite sure about Nebraska’s win, the match was not as easy as it seemed. While Nebraska is in the No. 1 position, Georgia Tech stands at No. 5 in the collegiate volleyball rankings. The recent tweet by Nebraska Volleyball was captioned, “GOT THE SWEEP TO GO ELITE.”

In the first set of the showdown, Nebraska started to portray its prowess on the volleyball turf. Consecutively, Nebraska made the first set a win with an 11-25. Even though the showdown witnessed intense competition for a few minutes in the following set, Nebraska again overpowered Georgia Tech and clinched the set with 16-25.

Directly after making the survival of the opponent team difficult, Nebraska ended today’s top 16 showdown with a remarkable 21-25 win. In the deciding set, Nebraska added another 3-0 clean sweep win to its collection. The major appreciation for today’s win is shared by Nebraska’s exceptionally talented players.
