Nebraska Huskers is at the top of the collegiate volleyball. The team is known for creating long undefeated streaks and rivalries against the top-seeded team, the Wisconsin Badgers. The tension between the two teams is at its peak as they compete to face each other at NCAA finals.

However, there are other reasons Nebraska Huskers are under the spotlight. One of its future players who has signed the contract to join the team has been making headlines recently. Before impacting the Nebraska Huskers’ volleyball play, the teammate accomplished a basketball recognition.

Being an amazing all-rounder 

Raven senior, Skyler Pierce from the Huskers Volleyball roster recently left her mark on the basketball court and clinched the honor for the same. Celebrating her victory, coach and KU Red squad alum took to his X handle and penned,Congrats to Raven Senior SkyPierce21 for being named to the De Soto Hardwood Classic All-Tourney Team!” Skyler Pierce is among the remarkable all-rounders. She not only performs exceptionally well on volleyball turf, but she is a legend on the basketball court as well.

Skyler Pierce passed with flying colors recently while being named to the De Soto Hardwood Classic All-Tourney Team. She not only performed well but also clinched the title. Interestingly, Sky Pierce aims to master her basketball skills by playing as a point guard for the basketball team.

The major reason for Sky’s appraisal is her capability to push herself at the end for big accomplishments. She sharpens her volleyball skills and makes a major impact on the basketball court. Eventually, her basketball triumph is a few months after her arrival on Nebraska Husker’s volleyball team.

Last month, the Nebraska Huskers volleyball program announced the 2024 signing class on the occasion of National Letter of Intent Signing Day. Head Coach John Cook, along with the Huskers team, secured signs of two of the top volleyball athletes in the nation, including Skyler Pierce. A 2-2 outside hitter with international experience with the US national team and has competed at FIVB U-21 World Championships this summer.

Her love for both the sports, basketball and volleyball, is visible when she is on the court. Interestingly, she has an average of 4.6 kills per set, along with a remarkable hitting percentage of .402. Sky will be seen as part of collegiate volleyball the next year.
