The Nebraska Huskers are in the endgame now! After trouncing their opponents in the 2023 NCAA volleyball tournament, the Huskers took on the Pittsburgh Panthers in the national semis. While the 2023 Big Ten conference winners eyed a spot at the finals, a former Huskers icon looks to lend his support to his college in Tampa, Florida. Former Super Bowl champ Ndamukong Ngwa Suh was seen making his way to the stands ahead of the game and is most likely to cheer for team Big Red as they clashed against the 2023 ACC Champions.

Suh spent his collegiate days as a Husker before being picked up by the Detroit Lions. Understandably, like many of us, Suh hoped for good results for the Nebraska team, given their solid form throughout the tournament.

Former Huskers star spotted at the Amalie Arena

The social media account of a sports media-covering channel shared images of Ndamukong Suh, moments before the start of the semifinal match between the Nebraska Huskers and the Pitt Panthers at the Amalie Arena, Florida. Captioned “SUH IN THE HOUSE“, the post finds it difficult to conceal the excitement of seeing the NFL legend in the stand cheering for his college. As the crowd can be heard chanting “Go Huskers“, the former Nebraska man can’t help but grin seeing the support for his alma mater.

From the sounds of it, the Huskers weren’t short on support from the stands during the match. Considering the prolific performance they’ve displayed along their journey to the semis, it wasn’t much of a surprise either. However, having a college legend stand in their corner did help, nonetheless.

What the future holds for the Huskers?

Ahead of the match, the Huskers players were observed to be in great moods. The players mimicked their colleague’s celebration style while Huskers star Lindsay Krause was seen overwhelmed by her boyfriend’s emotional messages on the court.
