Jordan Larson shows the cards up the sleeves

The Nebraska Huskers defeated the Iowa Hawkeyes to claim their 27th straight win in their unbeaten season. The team had won the Big Ten Championship back in 2016, after which they had to share the title in 2017 with Penn State. However, the team seems to have matched the pace of former Nebraska Huskers star Jordan Larson. Huskers Radio Network tweeted a video of Larson where she was interviewed about her team’s Big Ten Championship win.

Responding to a question, Larson said, “Some wins are not pretty, right? It doesn’t always look the best, right? It’s just about grinding it out and how do you get at the end of it two points better than the other team? That’s all it takes.” Larson said as she spoke about the two-point mentality the Nebraska Huskers stick to.

She also added, “Oftentimes the best wins are the grittiest and maybe not the prettiest. And you’re like, ‘Hey, we didn’t even play our best, but we pulled out a win.’ You know, I think that creates a good team.”
