The Nebraska Huskers spill their emotions on the court

After Nebraska’s clean sweep, the official X handle of the Huskers Volleyball Team shared a video clip of the winning moment. The Huskers have been in the shadows for a long time and their winning emotions can be seen bursting through the brim in the short video clip. Even the commentators fail to conceal their excitement as they mark the occasion with a definitive statement “For the first time since 2016, the Nebraska Cornhuskers are the outright Big Ten Champions“.

The Huskers won the match 25-20, 25-12, and 25-15. With two more matches to go on the road, the Nebraska women’s volleyball team couldn’t have asked for a better start to the end of the season. So far, the Huskers have maintained a perfect record and their NCAA prospects look good already.

The Huskers’ woes aren’t all gone yet

Next up, the Huskers will be facing the Wisconsin Badgers. While the Badgers are currently on the slump, they’re not to be underestimated by any means. The Badgers have four Big Ten volleyball titles and will be looking to turn their luck around in the match against their arch-rivals this Friday.

The Huskers are only two matches away from making it 20-0 to their regular season, which puts them in an advantageous position, given the Badgers’ ongoing troubles. Days ago, the Huskers posted photos of their last regular training season at “The Bob”. It looks like the training paid off and the Huskers’ final road trip of the season is off to a brilliant start.

Winning the Big Ten title qualifies them for the upcoming Division I Championships by default and the Huskers will surely aim to retain their current form. Now, it waits to be seen what the Badgers have up their sleeve to greet the Red Shirts on November 24 on an advantageous home turf.
