The Nebraska Huskers volleyball team is on a roll. With their first outright Big Ten Volleyball title win in 7 years, the Red Shirts are on cloud nine. They still have two more matches on the road and will be looking to end the regular season with a perfect record. The Huskers will be facing the Wisconsin Badgers this Friday. While the Badgers have been going through a rough patch in recent weeks, the Huskers will have to tighten their belts to make sure their foes don’t spoil their good times.

The Huskers fans can heard chanting “Go Big Red!“, with the Nebraska team leading the Hawkeyes 2-0. The Hawks were struggling on each set and never managed to catch up to their opponents as the Huskers once again proved their mettle this season.

In August this year, the Huskers set an attendee record during their match against the Omaha Mavericks. The Memorial Stadium was packed to the brim with 92,003 people in the stands. The previous attendance record for an NCAA volleyball game was just over 17,000. Understandably, the Huskers fans are more than up for providing moral support to keep those energy levels high.

While the Huskers have ended a seven-year-long dry spell by winning the Big Ten title, their future looks pretty bright as well. Cox Mill High’s Ryan Hunter has given her word to join the Big Reds in 2025 after her trip to the Devaney Center (The Bob) months ago. Hunter’s incredible performance has helped her school finish second in the North Carolina Divisional Rankings.

With two remaining matches, the Huskers will look to make sure their regular season needs with a perfect 20-0 record. The Reds have a stupendous 27-0 record this season and so far, nothing seems to be capable of dampening their swagger.
