A remarkable 11,000 seats across two venues have been crafted from recycled plastic, symbolizing a commitment to environmental responsibility. The process is meticulous yet innovative. Moreover, over 50 recyclers collaborate with Le Pave, collecting waste and meticulously sorting through materials. They focus particularly on those sourced from yellow bins brimming with packaging waste. Benjamin Saint-Mard, the commercial director of Le Pave, explains the intricate journey of recycled plastic. He details how it undergoes cleaning, crushing, and transformation into granules or ground material.

This thermo-compression technique molds these materials into dense, durable panels, ensuring both functionality and sustainability in the final product. This ingenious approach not only repurposes discarded plastic but also embodies a vision for a greener, more eco-conscious Olympic Games.
