Michigan Wolverines wrestling superstar Stevan Micic has been on a social media role for quite some time. The world wrestling champ is a free soul who often showcases the things he loves and is interested in via his online posts. While his fans already know that Micic is a big sneakerhead, a new post has shown that he is also interested in another big subculture.

When Stevan Micic won the gold medal at the 2023 Belgrade event, the 57kg wrestler was rather mellow in his celebrations. While many took the Michigan Wolverines wrestler as a serious type of man, his latest social media post says something else. In fact, his new post saw Micic jumping in a full-blown celebration after winning an anime goodie.

Stevan Micic added a new reel to his Instagram account with the caption, The One Piece is real.” The reel also carried an in-video caption that said, Celebration after becoming a World Champ vs… Celebration after winning One Piece figure from Japanese arcade.” The footage clearly displayed the stark difference in the Michigan Wolverines star’s mood.

The video showed Stevan Micic winning a figurine of a character from one of the world’s most-watched and beloved anime, One Piece. The figurine won by the wrestler was that of Boa Hancock, a big fan favorite from the anime. While grappling for the gold medal didn’t make Micic jump, clawing his One Piece prize definitely did.
