Overall, the credit for the exceptional first day is shared by the wrestlers performing on the mat and their gifted coach. Team Illinois’s coach Clarissa Chun can address great moves to the wrestlers as the 2012 Bronze Olympian at 48kg has prior experience in the sport. Even though the Illinois women’s wrestling team performed well on the first day, there are many more teams who have yet to perform. Therefore, the analysis of the team’s position in the wrestling season cannot be made.
