After overcoming the challenges of motherhood, like sleep and the demands of breastfeeding, Gray is now drawing inspiration from USA’s tennis sensation Naomi Osaka’s powerful quotes as a mother.

Being a wrestler-mommy

Adeline Gray stunned everyone at the World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade with exceptional moves. However, she settled for a bronze medal at the Women’s Freestyle event. Recently, she uploaded a story to her Instagram account that comprises a powerful quote from another mother, Naomi Osaka. The quote reads, “Parents, moms in particular, are historically told that the babies will be a barrier to personal goals -that they will stop you from achieving your dreams. But I have discovered that Shai is my ultimate motivator, she makes me want to achieve greatness.”

Despite facing the challenges of being a mother, Osaka – who is blessed with a daughter – never fails to add feathers of accolades to her cap of honors. Along the same lines, Adeline looks up to Osaka and seems to draw inspiration from her to achieve greatness this year ahead of the Olympics

Adeline working towards ticket to Paris

Recently, Adeline came up on the wrestling mat at the Zagreb Open 2024 event. The 2022 Olympic silver medalist secured a 3-0 score in the bronze showdown at the event. In the first period, she emerged victorious with a 12-2 to clinch the silver medal at the event. However, she was not satisfied with her performance at the event.

Her story was updated a couple of days after her bronze medal win at the event. As she is not yet qualified for the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics, Adeline is eyeing the coveted spot. In her instagram bio, she wrote, “2x Olympian & 2024 Olympic Hopeful wrestling👶Twin mom👶 in finals of the 2024 Olympics trails 10X World & Olympic medalist 6x🌎Champ Avid card player.” Will Adeline be able to clinch a coveted spot at the upcoming 2204 Paris Olympics?
