The host asked Taylor if he wrestled Kerkvliet at the NLWC, to which he said, “No. Okay. No, I do. I mean, everyone’s like, Greg asked me, and I just, you know, my mindset is like, ‘I’m in survival mode’. I mean, just, I’m speaking out of personal experience. I mean, it’s like wrestling a refrigerator. He’s just so strong and fast and explosive.”

While Taylor initially drifted off into admiration, he instantly put back his analytical glasses and said, “I don’t know if he really understands his full potential. And it looks like that match, it’s like, that’s the best Greg I’ve ever seen.” David Taylor also mentioned that Kerkvliet’s season start will propel him to great heights as the season progresses. Interestingly, this makes another addition to the NLWC team that Taylor said can take on the Olympics.
