Amit Elor has been practicing and perfecting her pre-existing skills in order to give a rousing performance at Tirana, Albania, where the U-23 Worlds are slated to occur. The champion crossed paths with Soviet coach Valentin Kalika who recognized her talent and motivated her to pursue amateur wrestling. he outstandingly won the junior world’s twice in a row at Ufa, Russia, and in Sofia, Bulgaria. After this, it was all smooth sailing for our wrestling prodigy who etched her presence in everyone’s minds and hearts for posterity. Last year at the U-23 World Wrestling Championship, she has christened the gold medalist for the 72 kg event, in Pontevedra, Spain.
