Jordan Burroughs, aka All I see is Gold, is preparing to clinch an Olympic Spot this year. Although he competed in the 79kg category, he is shedding pounds to participate in the 74 kg category. The major reason for this weight loss journey is the unavailability of an Olympics spot in the 79 kg weight category. 

Back in 2012, Jordan used to compete in the 79 kg category. However, after getting defeated by Kyle Dake in the same weight class, he decided to gain weight. But there were other obstacles he had to counter in order to grow. As he mentions in his tweet, he proved that Actions speak louder than words.

Journey to Paris Olympics 2024 

Eventually, he started executing his plans rather than discussing them. Therefore, the wrestling prodigy has planned to make redemption by participating in his previous weight class. Currently, he is planning to shed pounds to first show prowess on the world mat at the Kazakhstan tournament.

He will participate in the 74 kg category and be accompanied by USA’s Olympian, Yianni Diakomihalis, at the event. The events plays a crucial role in getting to upcoming Olympics 2024 as it not only offers a gold medal but also an Olympics spot. While Jordan aims to make redemption in the Olympic Weight Class, Yianni will compete to clinch a spot in the Olympics.
