David Taylor secures a “gem” ahead of the Olympics

Although her daughter was born on 22nd January, David Taylor shared the news with spectators today after keeping her daughter’s name. In a post on his Instagram, David Taylor said, “Waited to share this gem from a while back because we’ve had some pregnancy complications this go around, but the baby is almost ready to make her debut, and we couldn’t be more excited and ready! London & Ivy are going to be great big sisters.” Beyond wrestling, David is known to be a family person. This surely is the first delight in a year that has the potential to bring another.

Last year, David Taylor accomplished a World Championship Title at Belgrade and a berth to the upcoming Paris Olympics Trials finals. Taylor qualified for the 86 kg spot for the 2024 Olympic Games and will sit out until the finals at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials in April. Understandably, he stands one more chance to feature himself on the Olympic stage in the coming days. But the road is not easy.
