A new Burroughs set to make the mark

Recently, Jordan Burroughs took it to his Twitter account and posted a couple of pictures with his family. Alongside his four kids and wide, Jordan Burroughs’s pictures featured a new addition to the family. While posting the pictures, he penned, “Just like that, we’ve added a new wrestler to our family! The Burroughs clan is now up to 7. Welcome to the world, baby Badge! Mom and baby boy are doing great!

Interestingly, Jordan and his wife recently completed a decade of successful married life. Now, Jordan has a clan of 7 family members, including a couple, his three daughters, a son, and a newborn. Although the 2012 Olympic champion mentioned the name Badge, he did make a gender reveal for his baby.

In a recent Instagram post, Jordan Burroughs said, “• Badge • A characteristic mark or emblem awarded for a particular accomplishment. To set something apart as ‘certified.” It seems to be that Jordan is pouring hints on completing ten years of marriage as a particular accomplishment and his newborn as a characteristic mark. The Olympic path ahead for Jordan Burroughs 

Although most of the athletes have already qualified for an Olympic berth this year, Jordan Burroughs is still awaiting one. After opting for a challenging feat this year by shedding pounds and adapting to a 74kg weight, Jordan will be competing against Kyle Dake, Tokyo Olympic medalist, at the US Olympic trails, which will be a last chance to secure a coveted spot.

Will Jordan be able to defeat Dake to take redemption while securing an Olympic spot? Only time will tell.
