With an impressive record of seven bull-riding world championships and three CBR world championships, Sage has always been a force to be reckoned with.

Along with his incredible achievements, Sage Kimzey is also a doting husband. In a series of posts on Instagram, his wife Alexis Kimzey opened up on how her husband as been a pillar of support while she battled through her health journey.

Alexis Kimzey calls Sage ‘an angel’

Recently, Alexis Kimzey took it to her official Instagram account and uploaded a snippet from her kitchen where her husband, Sage Kimzey, was visibly cooking food for her wife. Along with the picture, she wrote, “The season I’ve been successful on this. My husband has helped every meal, prepares my meal when he leaves town. He’s an angel.”

Alexis Kimzey has always been the center of attraction, not for her husband’s successful career but for being an inspiration. In 2022, when she first gave birth to her first child, she underwent various complications and almost died. In addition to this, Sage underwent two major surgeries while her mom had a stroke.

In short, all the misfortunes came together, but Kimzey decided to defy all odds. Eventually, two years after overcoming the intense situation, Alexis is able to achieve exceptional results by working on her mental health with a therapist to combat dysmorphic, cutting toxic people out of her life, and doing body workouts.

Now, she is on the verge of reversing her insulin resistance. In another instagram post, she penned, “Life is always going to have issues but your health shouldn’t be one of them…I dont care how you achieve it, if it is healthy.” But now the question is how does Sage manage to help his family.

Sage Kimzey’s bold leap

As 2024 began, something unexpected happened. On 9th January, Sage Kimzey officially announced a transition to participate full-time in the PBR. The major reason behind this strategic move is to have a more flexible schedule to have more quality time to spend with his wife and child.

Currently, Sage features a sparkling legacy in the PRCA as he constantly offers spectators record-setting performances while elevating the sport’s standards for the upcoming generation. However, now the question is: Will Sage Kimzey be able to add more accolades to nine NFR qualifications, $3 million earnings, and NFR Average titles after becoming a full-time PBR?
