The kits are said to contain cutting-edge style and design to further enhance the athlete’s performance. The stylists for the kits appeared at the press conference soon after the big launch to discuss more on the jerseys.

Describing the thought process behind the design, a representative said that the lines on the kits were crafted exclusively to contour the perfect bodies of the athletes. She also doubled down on the fact that the fabrics used to make the kits were ultra-spun and thus, would provide extreme fluidity while running at high speeds. Such fabrics would prevent the kits from behaving abrasively and in turn, hinder the mobility of the sprinters.

The designer further shed light on the exact material they used for the Paris Olympics kits. To ensure a proper moisture wing and the kits to be ultra-lightweight, the designers at Puma used a material called Caro. This is a material that is generated from premium Italian fish nets that are mostly found in the ocean. Taking a keen liking to the fashion aspect, Puma made sure that they did not miss out on the Thermodynamics of the kit either, making it regulate the body heat accordingly.
