Simone makes an honest request

Starting gymnastics at six, Simone was never aware of a world beyond the vaults. Gymnastics was not just her love but also her profession. Speaking of which, she adds, “My first job was a professional gymnast.” Owing to professional commitments, she never got the opportunity to explore.

Thus, when she got the opportunity, she made the best use of it. Excited to try her hands at something new, Simone says, “Going to get my first real job.” Mastering the craft of an ice cream seller is not easy. Trying hard to deliver her order with perfection, Biles can be seen working behind bars.

Gymnastic merits did not help Simone Biles get her job 

One might think Simone’s gymnastics glory would make things easy for her. But this is certainly not the case; going out of her comfort zone was never easy. Simone had to go in for an interview to get her first real job.

Answering some grilling questions, Simone answered all the key questions asked. All these years after having performed at the vault, to speak about her “strengths and weaknesses before as people see them on T.V.” was not easy. She confesses, “it’s weird.”
