The GOAT of snowboarding is at the Oscars! Shaun White is at the 94th edition of the Academy Awards as a presenter. Notably, he was accompanied by his mom on the red carpet.

The Oscars 2022 are being held at the Dolby Theater in the heart of Hollywood. Decked in a black and white tux, Shaun stole hearts, looking fine and finessed. Not to forget, Shaun is coming from off fresh from retirement, having recently made history at his 5th and last Olympic Games.

Fans, however, have mixed reactions to seeing White at the Academy Awards. While some think it’s cool that someone was outside the acting fraternity was invited, there are others who think that he does not belong there.

Shaun White was invited to present an award at the Oscars. Undeniably, this is a huge thing because every year for the snowboarding legend. And speaking of legends, influential skateboarder, Tony Hawk, was also present along with White. In addition, the American surfer Kelly Slater completed the trio.

However, fans are not quite sure if White belongs at the Oscars after all. Many commented on why White was invited when they were many other talented actors who did not receive an invitation.

“Invites Shaun White but not the copious amount of talent which star in films which have been nominated Interesting,” tweeted a user.

There were yet others who did not like the trio’s presentation.

The trio was up on the stage to pay tribute to James Bond. However, some felt that they had nothing to do with Bond, and did not do a good job with the presentation.

However, there were some fans who were quite happy to see Shaun White at the Oscars. Many liked the trio of the 3 very talented athletes, who brought some fun to the stage.

Some regretted not knowing that their favorite snowboarding star was going to present at the Oscars.

Whether or not he belongs there, Shaun White certainly is enjoying his time at the Oscars. Looking forward to his appearance for a while now, White was quite excited and even has been documenting his day at the Oscars via his Instagram.
