Raylee draws inspiration from her rider-shooter competitive parents Leann and Kenny Lawson. Her father Kenny is a renowned name in the CMSA Overall state shows who learned it from his father. Raylee’s grandfather Rob Tanner won the Hall of Fame Trainer and World Champion titles during his time. From an early age, generations have trained on the most difficult horse breeds—the American Saddle-bred. For more than three decades, the Silver Dollar Ranch has served as the home of the Valley Centre locals’ practices.

Interestingly, when her father won the 2014 CMSA, she was a sophomore in high school and still needed one more victory to participate at level two. Fast forward to now, she successfully added her name to the shotgun and revolver categories of the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association (CSMA). Despite the long list of plaudits, the internet continues to swoon over her style in the recent video.
