It’s Christmas, and it’s time for the families to get together for a delectable dinner and some quality time. Across all sporting avenues, the athletes resort to their families during this time of the year. In the same vein, a handful of riders share their holiday stories with PBR Brazil.

Rodeo legends share their ideal holiday traditions
PBR Brazil took to their Instagram to post a compilation video of four athletes talking about their favorite time of the year. Capped off the post as “Drop your holiday traditions below” for the fans to chime in as well. First up was Ednelio Rodriguez de Almeida, who expressed his feelings, saying, “I spend it with my family, with my father and my mother… A good barbeque, a lot of happiness, and a great party for us.” Next up was Julio Cesar, who disclosed his side of the story, saying, “We like to spend Christmas time with our family. And with a big variety of foods.”

Following him, Flavio Ziveri said, “My Christmas tradition is to gather everyone in the family. To spend some great days…. eat our best foods.” Last up was Vitor Losnake, who also prioritize family time during the holidays. He said, “There’s nothing better than the whole family together. We exchange gifts. We eat a big pig!” But besides the athletes themselves, the fresh individual season of PBR’s Unleash the Beast has celebrated Christmas in its own way.

Santa at the event grounds
In the pursuit of clinching the final title of the 2024 PBR World Champion, the bull riders have girded up for a new season. With 24 regular season events, the fresh season has kicked off on November 10-11. But the latest leg witnessed the traditional patron of Christmas appear amid the rodeo athletes.

So, to celebrate, PBR Brazil had posted, “Did you know? Even Santa is a PBR fan! After so much watching the exciting events on BRTVMAX, he decided to feel the adrenaline live at the last event!” The picture featured a white-bearded man dressed as Santa, waving at the fans with peak excitement. This move of PBR was not only a moment of joy for the competitors, but it also reminded them of home.
