After a 3-day event filled with rush and adrenaline, the second Kansas homestand Outlaw days are over. The PBR event, filled with fans on their tiptoes waiting for their favorite riders to hold onto the beast for a little longer, was held inside the T-Mobile Center in Kansas. And after holding dominance for three consecutive days, Kansas Outlaw emerged as the winner of their homestand.

Apart from the Kansas team soaring to the pinnacle, Arizona Ridge riders secured the 7th final team at the event. While trying to secure a better position, the team’s $881k-worth player also tasted dirt. A video of the bull leaving the cage after kicking Keyshawn Whitehorse on the ground has gone viral.

Rodeo star Keyshawn Whitehorse tastes dirt

On August 5, while trying to bag a win, Arizona Ridge Riders rodeo star Keyshawn tasted dirt in the cage. And after kicking the 24-year-old, the bull had a close encounter with the cameraman. On August 6, PBR posted a reel of the viral scene on Instagram with the caption “Watching the toughest sport in dirt from the shark cage.

In the video, Keyshawn was seen trying to hold himself on the bull, but only after 4 seconds was the rider forced to taste the dirt. In the video taken from the shark cage, the cameraman also showcases a close encounter with the bull.

Keywshawn Whitehorse, who currently holds the 17th rank with 677 points, signed with the Arizona Ridge Riders last year. The rider who’s named “Pride of the Navajo Nation,” is a three-time PBR global cup qualifier. However, despite being a staunch addition to the team, the Ridge riders could not hold up against the Outlaws at the event. The Kansas team dominated the event by defeating Ridge Riders on the very first day of the event.

Kansas Outlaw dominating the PBR event

With a staunch score of 3-0, Kansas City maintained a perfect score in the second annual PBR Camping World Team Series. The team started the event by defeating the Ridge Riders by 0.25 points with a final score of 8.75-8.25. Following the same enigma on August 5, the Kansas team defeated the Missouri Thunder, who were only able to secure one win at this event.

On the third day of the event, the Kansas riders became one step closer to winning their homestand by defeating the Oklahoma Freedom. Both the teams had entered the cage with a perfect 2-0 score. And at last, Kansas Outlaws created history and lifted their well-deserved trophy by defeating the Austin Gamblers, who also had a perfect score of 3-0 as well. The Outlaws are now the third team in league history to win their Homestand.

After this incredible win, In an interview, KC Bullrider Marcus Mast stated, “What a lot of people don’t realize is that this is a lot more than bull riding to us.” In essence, this PBR event, just like every other rodeo event, was full of thrills and adrenaline. Hopefully, the PBR will share more glimpses of the rider handling four-legged beasts in the cage on social media.
