One of the best entertainment sources for rodeo enthusiasts? It’s the 2023 PBR Team Series Freedom Fest in Oklahoma. The Madsen brothers were the main source of entertainment here. Their mind-blowing performances were nothing but worth watching. Kade Madsen and Briggs Madsen have been practicing bull-riding together since a very young age. Belonging to a rodeo background, they have always dreamt of being the best bull riders.

Kade Madsen has been eagerly waiting for his name to be called at the 2023 PBR Team Series Draft. This year it has been fulfilled and he is right on the path of his big brother Briggs. Finally, this year Kade has joined his brother in the series by getting selected by the Missouri Thunder with the No.4 overall draft pick. And not just this, he has given a commendable performance in all the rounds.

18-year-old’s terrific performance at a prestigious rodeo event 

This year’s PBR Team Series Draft has been a special one for the Madsen brothers. Briggs has been signed by the Thunder after being released by the Oklahoma Freedom and the two brothers were reunited. It has been extremely helpful for both of them to have each other this season.

Kade Madsen has been one of the star performers this season. He has been leading the Thunder with four qualified rides. On Day 3 of the event in Oklahoma, the younger brother gave a performance to be cherished. He rode I’m Legit Too for 88.75 points in the Thunder’s losing effort against the Kansas City Outlaws. Even after facing defeat, it was still the best weekend of the season by far for Thunders. He took the team from 2-1 to finish fourth and faced an improvement of 4-12 this season.

The presence of his big brother helped Kade a lot to nab this achievement. Despite being on separate teams, they communicated throughout. The 18-year-old had faced difficulties in handling the bull power, and Briggs had one or the other advice to share. After finishing the performance, the excitement in Kade portrayed his confidence. And one of the biggest reasons for this was his big brother.

Connection between the Madsen brothers 

The two brothers Kade Madsen and Briggs Madsen have not been less than best friends. After the recent performance at the 2023 PBR event, Kade expressed, “For me, getting my brother on the team has been huge. He’s been my best friend since I can remember.” His brother being there has helped Kade with all the nervousness and things like that.

And the presence of Briggs has not only been ideal for his brother but the entire team. The winning weekend started on the 8th of September against the No.7 Nashville Stampede when Briggs scored the only ride for the Thunder to secure the walk-off victory. Their wonderful performance has proved it was the right decision to bring both the brothers into the Thunders.
