The snowboarding legend, Shaun White, finally has enough time to celebrate life away from the sports world. In fact, he’s prepared a bucket list, including things he wishes to do post-retirement, and he has already begun ticking things off it.
While watching the super bowl live from the stands was the first thing he did after returning from Beijing, the legend has now indulged himself in interviews and talk shows.

The five-time Olympian has led an amazing career and his achievements in snowboarding are a testament to that. In his final run at the Beijing Winter Olympics, he managed a fourth-place finish in the halfpipe event. Though it was not the farewell he’d expected, his entire career saw fans give him a standing ovation on his last dance.
Shaun White gets a special gift from a young fan
The three-time Olympic champion, Shaun White, received a very special gift on Jimmy Kimmel’s show. It was a gift from Jimmy’s son, Billy, as revealed by the host. He said, “the last time you were here after our son Billy had a heart surgery… you gave him a very cool snowboard and a little snow outfit and so we were watching you on the Olympics and… he did give you a gift from his special drawer.”
The gift was a shark toy and Shaun was very happy about the heartwarming gesture from Jimmy’s son. He said, “Thank you Billy, the great white shark for the old.”

What is Shaun doing post-retirement?
Since the champion has bid farewell to the sport he dominated for over 20 years, he is now getting involved in the things he always wished to do. After the super bowl, Shaun has traveling plans with his girlfriend Nina Dobrev.

Although his life seems to be as busy as always with all the interviews and press appearances, it seems as though he is beginning to enjoy retirement after all. Shaun has announced nothing on the professional front as of now as he is taking all the time in the world to decide upon his future endeavors.
