Simone Biles And Her Team Give Stunning Performance To The Tunes Of Fix You

The team of Gold Over America Tour gave a stunning performance at Chase Centre, San Francisco on 28th September. The team, led by Simone Biles, is touring across America, and they will be performing in 35 cities across the country.

The Gold Over America Tour is a celebration of the sport of gymnastics and consists of a team of talented and capable female athletes. And the all-women team looks to inspire the future generation of female athletes and gymnasts.

“There is GOLD inside of us all” Biles believes in bringing out the best

San Francisco witnessed a stunning performance by the Gold Over AmericaTour team on Tuesday, as the athletes performed to the tunes of Fix You by Coldplay. This performance took place in the Chase Centre, situated on Warriors Way.

The much-accomplished team consists of Jordan Chiles, MyKayla Skinner, Grace McCallum, Jade Carey, Laurie Hernandez, Katelyn Ohashi, Nia Dennis, Morgan Hurd, Ellie Black, Chellsie Memmel, Shilese Jones, and Melanié Johanna de Jesus dos Santos, led by Simone Biles.

Biles believes that there is “GOLD” inside all of us and it was time to let it shine. 

“I love the sport of gymnastics and wanted to help create a show that celebrates the pure joy of performing,” said Simone Biles. “I believe there is GOLD inside of us all and it’s time to let that GOLD shine.”

Simone Biles reveals the pressure of keeping a sport alive

Biles has also recently revealed the pressure that she feels, leading the show, and making sure everything goes right. She feels like the weight of the world is on her shoulders.

“So much of a burden has been placed on me to carry through this sport and to keep whatever it is alive and to like keep the fire in their butt do the right thing,” said Biles.

Biles believes she should have quit way before Tokyo.  In the last and final episode of Simone Vs. Herself, she talks about how she is just glad she walked away with two medals.

“If you would have told me like a year ago that I am only walking out of 2020 Olympics with 2 medals, I would have cried. But now I am just like, I am happy, said Biles.

During the 2021 Olympics, Simone Biles pulled out of the individual finals, under too much pressure. And she knew she needed a break and chose to do what she felt was best for her.
