This huge contribution of Skatepark Hero is used in assisting underserved communities. It helps in creating ideal public skateparks since 2002. Recently, Hawk took to his social media to express his gratitude for the sincere contribution.

Tony Hawk shows gratitude towards the Skatepark project contribution
Skatepark Hero has been founded by Tony Hawk, and is a competition whose main aim is to raise funds for building skate parks in the local communities. This regulation has been in practice since 2002. And, this year the 2023 Tony Hawks’ Skatepark Hero has been able to raise $768,498.50 for the development. The 55-year-old has posted an Instagram story, stating, “Thank You” for the entire help.

Skatepark Hero posted a video where Tony Hawk is seen appreciating the help they have received. At the very beginning of the video, Hawk expressed, “That’s beyond everything I ever dreamed, that’s amazing.” He thanked everyone who was a part of the donation and stated that there are going to be many more to come.

One kid expressed, “Words can’t describe how much gratitude I have for these skate parks.” Following him, another kid stated, “It just feels good to have something really cool, and feels good that Tony’s here.” The Skatepark Hero congratulated Mike Man for winning the competition and Robert Zamora for being Tony’s pick. Tony Hawk has climbed the stairs of success to become one of the most successful skateboarders there is.
