Nyjah Huston has progressed excessively in professional skateboarding over the past years. This 28-year-old sports person with monster energy has been the youngest-ever X Games competitor at age 11. He is a skilled skateboarder who has won many gold medals at the X Games and the SLS Super Crown World Championship.

He was among the top 100 influential people in 2021 TIMES Magazine. Now he is on a mission to show his prowess ahead of the Paris Olympics. He effortlessly and smoothly travels on the skateboarding ground like anything. He has proved his worth and further added glory and recognition to his name. In the recent 2023 World Skateboarding Tour competition, he secured a first place in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Nyjah’s Technical Tricks Ahead of the Olympics

Huston attained the top spot with a dialed-in- performance at the 2023 World Skateboarding Tour competition. Recently, they held the official ‘Road to Paris 2024’ qualification event in Lausanne. This event occurred from 9 to 16 September. Sasaki and Vianna placed second and fifth, respectively, with Huston taking first. Sasaki is from Japan and Vianna is from Brazil.

The competition offered prize money and a chance for the Paris Olympics. The event also had live music performers and art festivals. It was full of fans and spectators. Before heading into finals, Huston had also won the WST in Rome. There also, he amazed everyone with his smooth surfing. In the Lausanne qualifying tournament, he strongly balanced his momentum. With a perfect second run, he fetched a high score of 90 points. There is also an interesting fact about Huston. Five years ago, he made a boastful claim about his strength and vitality.

Nyjah Huston’s boastful claim

On July 17, 2017, ESPN magazine represented his thoughts. It is a well-known fact that street skateboarding is full of risks with its epic highs and lows. The skaters need to be very cautious. However, five years ago, Nyjah went viral for his open claim that he never experienced great falls in his career and never broke his bones. In a very humorous tone, he said, “People always ask how many bones I’ve broken”. Further, he added a statement as a reply, “They ask because I skate big stairs and rails, and I’ve been known to take gnarly slams. Almost every skateboarder has broken at least one bone.” “None,” he said. “I’ve never broken a bone.”
