According to KCRA3, Michael Pasconi’s family is still grappling with his loss, even after one week since the tragedy. The 31-year-old skateboarder has left behind a wife, three children, and parents. The widow and her children are struggling to come to terms with his absence, and the void left by his silence is particularly poignant. Tiana Pasconi, the late skateboarder’s wife, expressed, “The house sounds so silent without him.” This silence is agonizing for her and is taking a toll on her mental state. She further elaborated that people often say the things that bother you the most will end up being the things you miss the most later, and in her case, this sentiment is becoming a stark reality in her family’s life.

She never anticipated missing her life partner, and the situation feels incredibly surreal to her. In an effort to cope with this strangeness, she, along with her late husband’s friends, set up a memorial featuring his picture and flowers at the site of his accident. Tiana explained that she cleaned the area, reclaiming it in honor of her husband, who deserves a final resting place. According to Tiana, she is committed to advocating, campaigning, and working for justice on behalf of her family and others affected by similar tragedies. To help support her sister during this difficult time and cover the funeral expenses, the late skateboarding enthusiast’s sister-in-law established a GoFundMe fundraiser.

What happened to the skateboarding lover?

More than a week ago, around 9:15 p.m., Michael Pasconi was skateboarding home when he was struck by a car on Blue Oaks Avenue. A medical team was dispatched to the scene, and he was subsequently transferred to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment. Unfortunately, he did not survive and passed away due to his injuries. The police department stated that the driver whose car was involved in the accident remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. They did not find alcohol or drugs to be the cause of the mishap. The department is currently investigating the reason behind the accident.
