Tony Hawk being mistaken as Lance Armstrong

While you have heard many stories about look-alike people being mistaken for each other, here’s another one. This time it’s skateboarding legend Tony Hawk and the greatest cyclist of all times, Lance Armstrong. In a post on Twitter, Tony revealed how a TSA agent thought he was Lance Armstrong. According to Tony, the TSA agent said, “I’m trying to figure out who you look like before checking your ID. that cyclist Armstrong!”

When Tony said he wasn’t Lance Armstrong, the agent replied, “oh you look like that skateboarder (checks ID). Same last name too! Crazy!” Interestingly, someone as popular as Tony Hawk had to go through all that.

The Oscar controversy

The famous Will Smith ‘slap’ controversy drew the attention of people around the world and particularly those at the Oscars. And like everyone else, Tony was also shocked by the turn of events at the Oscars. Though he was glad that he had already been on stage before the slap happened. He said“ I was just thankful that we presented our award before that happened.”
