The 26-year-old American skier had an awful experience at the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022. Going into the Olympics, she was the top favorite. However, in every event she took part she was far from the podium. She was disqualified in two of the events. But as they say, it’s just a bad day and not a bad life. Mikaela has led an incredible career, and one bad Olympic can’t outshine everything she has achieved while being part of team USA.

Mikaela Shiffrin pays tribute to her mother

Two years back in February 2020, the two-time Olympic gold medalist Mikaela Shiffrin lost her dad. She was devastated by the incident, and a year later, she made a song for her?father. However, this time the champion is paying a graceful tribute to her mother. She was featured in a recent advertisement for Adidas Women, which she uploaded on her Twitter handle.

In the advertisement, Mikaela said, “The question is less about what my mom does to support me and more what *doesn?t* she do to support me. Everybody needs support. Especially as an athlete?I would absolutely not be here without the support I?ve gotten.?”
