“Give Him A Break”: Lindsey Vonn Once Aggressively Came In Tiger Woods’ Defense Against Reporter Trying To Pull Him Down

Back in the day, Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods were a couple to watch out for. Very talented in their respective sports, they were an exclusive couple in the sports community. Vonn and Woods dated for almost three years, from 2013 to 2015, before they officially broke up.

However, things are not that bad between the two athletes. They have always had mutual respect for each other. Even after they went their separate ways, the couple has never bad-mouthed each other and continues to be good friends.

In this throwback video, we see Lindsey Vonn defend her then-boyfriend Tiger Woods at a fashion award show in New York. Vonn was quick to come to Tiger’s defense and spoke on his behalf.

Lindsey Vonn comes to Tiger Woods’ defense

Vonn met Woods in 2013, and soon the rumors of their dating were out. They made their relationship public and were often spotted together. Tiger Woods accompanied Lindsey Vonn to some fashion awards as well.

However, at the CFDA Fashion Awards in June 2013, Lindsey Vonn walked the red carpet without Woods being there, as he was busy training for the US Open. But in the same week, Woods had a not-so-successful stint at the Memorial Tournament. When the reporter mentioned this, Vonn quickly came to Woods’ defense.

“Oh come on, he had one bad a week. Give him a break all right, we’re not broken up things, we are all good,” reassured Lindsey.

She also mentioned how the US Open was a week away and one bad week doesn’t have to mean anything bad at all.

“It’s not the US Open, the US Open is in like a week and a half. We’re all good.” Vonn also revealed that she would be there to cheer him up at the US Open, and she kept to her promise.

Vonn and Woods maintain good relations

Even after their breakup, the two have remained friends. Vonn was there for him when Woods went through a horrific car accident in 2015.

“We are friends and, of course, I’m happy that he is back and healthy,” said Vonn. She was thankful that Tiger Woods was doing well, and to this day, the two continue to maintain good relations.

After Tiger Woods, Lindsey Vonn was engaged to PK Subban for three years before splitting with him. In recent times, she has been linked to LeBron James’ business partner, Diego Osorio.
