Why didn’t Woods accept the offer?
According to the LIV CEO/commissioner Greg Norman, “Woods turned down a deal that was “mind-blowingly enormous; we’re talking about high nine digits.” Perhaps the golf pro didn’t want to break his promise to the PGA tour he made years ago, even if it meant losing a million dollars. “That’s where my legacy is,” Woods said, previously. Hence, he was merely protecting his legacy, which means way more than any sum of money to him.
The skiing legend has mentioned it repeatedly that the prominent thing that caught her attention in Tiger was his strong-minded personality. Apparently, he is still the same person who likes to do things on his terms.
