Golf legend Tiger Woods is the man of the hour, as he refused to be a part of the LIV golf league. In other words, the golf pro turned down a $700-800 million offer by the league. However, by doing so, he has once again reinstated why he is a GOAT.

Surprisingly, when his ex-girlfriend Lindsey Vonn was given a million-dollar career opportunity in the past, she entertained it similarly.
Tiger Woods turned down LIV’s offer, Lindsey Vonn turned down F1 career
Woods took a very brave decision by turning down $700-800 million in a blink of an eye. Though he is not the only one turning down million-dollar career offers. Previously, his ex-girlfriend Lindsey Vonn turned down an opportunity to be a Formula One driver with Red bull. Perhaps it must have been the toughest decision of her life, given that she craves speed more.
Well, watching Lindsey Vonn coursing through an F1 track with unreasonable speed would have been a visual treat. However, that dream for fans died when she turned down the offer because of absurd restrictions.
About the deal, she said, “I was thinking about switching and going on to the Formula 1. Like actually trying to be a racer, a driver. But I couldn’t because they wanted me to commit. It was three years, and they were like you can’t get pregnant, you can’t do anything and I am like I don’t know if I really wanna do that.
Why didn’t Woods accept the offer?
According to the LIV CEO/commissioner Greg Norman, “Woods turned down a deal that was “mind-blowingly enormous; we’re talking about high nine digits.” Perhaps the golf pro didn’t want to break his promise to the PGA tour he made years ago, even if it meant losing a million dollars. “That’s where my legacy is,” Woods said, previously. Hence, he was merely protecting his legacy, which means way more than any sum of money to him.
