Lindsey has had her fair share of injuries during her successful career, including injuries that required seven knee surgeries.
Although the athlete has retired from competitive alpine skiing, she still earns more than the average athlete. Previously, a 2013 Forbes article put her net worth at an estimated $3 million. However, Lindsey has come a long way since, and now she has an estimated net worth of roughly $12 million.
Most of the athlete’s wealth comes from endorsements signed while still competing. Vonn signed with Under Armour when she was 16, and she continues to endorse the sports apparel brand. It puts her as the longest-serving brand ambassador of the company.
Moreover, in 2019 she endorsed the launch of Dwayne Johnson’s Project Rock Collection with Under Armour. The skier has also designed sports apparel for a new Under Armour collection.
Lindsey’s other significant sponsors include Red Bull, Oakley, Vail Resorts, GoPro, and Head, a winter sports performance brand.
