Michael Shiffrin opens up about her experience when she is alone

Michaela Shiffrin is expanding her records with a 90th World Cup Victory and a 55th in Slalom. It has been a wonderful experience for her to be on top of every other skier who stands in her competition. It is an overwhelming one for Shiffrin, as with this extraordinary, most of the time she is in front of several cameras shooting her and admirers calling her name. However, the other side of stardom was hidden until Shiffrin opened up about it in a recent interview.

Adidas Terrex shared a glimpse of a video on their Instagram account, where Mikaela Shiffrin is seen talking about her feelings. This was from episode 3 of Unfiltered: Being Okay With Yourself, where Shiffrin is seen expressing, “It gets a lot lonelier”. This happens with the legend when she gets back to her space with no media and cameras on her. It gets a lot quieter and a lot lonelier for her than it should.

Shiffrin is absolutely used to winning and with several cameras and so much attention on her, she is used to this noise, and it can of course get a little different than it should in the post phase of everything. However, the skier is still aiming for more.

Shiffrin has set high expectations for all skiing enthusiasts. However, some hopes tasted the ground when she attained a third position in the foggy Mont Tremblant on 2nd of December. Despite this loss, she is still undeterred. Her words on social media regarding her wins in the upcoming events have made all the enthusiasts excited.

She took to her X account and shared a long note. She expressed, “A bruise on the leg is a hell of a long way from the heart. – Herb Brooks, Miracle // So we are now thoroughly past the bone bruise situation & I’m so proud of how the past few weeks have gone & very ready for midseason racing. Time to put on the longboards! Train don’t stop”. This ray of optimism shows her determination for the win and has kept all her fans on their toes.
