21-year-old American star snowboarder Chloe Kim won her second Olympic gold medal at the Beijing Winter Olympics. In fact, she became the first female snowboarder to successfully defend her Olympic gold.

Moreover, Kim is also the youngest woman to win an Olympic snowboarding gold medal, too. Now, with the Beijing Winter Olympics in the rearview mirror, Kim has been enjoying her time off.

She has been spending time with her boyfriend, going on hikes, and according to her Instagram stories, getting her wisdom teeth removed.

Chloe Kim hilariously describes her medical procedure

Despite winning two Olympic gold medals in back-to-back Winter Olympics, Chloe Kim was no match to the pain of wisdom teeth. Thus, she informed her fans on social media through Instagram stories that she was about to get her wisdom teeth removed.

She went to the surgery with her boyfriend Evan Berle, who drove her to and back from the dentist.

However, it was what followed after her procedure that left her entire fan base in splits. The general anesthesia that Chloe was under made her sound a lot goofier and out of it. In fact, she couldn’t stop describing the experience as she took to Instagram after her removal.

However, after the procedure, Chloe was wearing a surgical mask over her face, which she explained herself. “I’m wearing a mask because my mouth is f***ing disgusting,” the 21-year-old said.

“Blood everywhere, it’s a crime scene,” she said in a deadpan manner that could get anyone chuckling. In fact, she even kept her wisdom teeth as a souvenir of the procedure, which she later held up for the world to see.

“Look at my teeth,” Kim said as she flaunted the four wisdom teeth she had removed. “Whoo! That’s exciting. Have a good day!” she said again, without even looking into her camera this time.

It was only after a few hours that Chloe Kim started feeling better and expressed as such in her stories. She even thanked her doctor for the procedure.

Chloe cried all the way back from the dentist

Apparently, keeping the mask on had been a good idea for Chloe Kim. The minute she took it off, she was dumbfounded when she realized she forgot something at the dentist.

As she ran her finger across her mouth, Kim said, “Evan, we have to go back”. When her boyfriend asked her the reason, she said she forgot her lip.

“I forgot my lip!” Chloe exclaimed, and soon after, she broke into tears. In fact, even when Berle repeatedly showed her that she had her lower lip intact in the rearview mirror, she wouldn’t stop sobbing.

Undoubtedly, anesthesia is no laughing matter, at least for the one undergoing it!
