With all the celebrities present at the Met Gala 2022, the champion snowboarder Chloe Kim was a beauty to behold. She was looking absolutely gorgeous in her Giambattista Valli Couture ball gown with numerous red feathers all over the dress. Though she wasn’t the only one attracting all the attention. Talking about her dress a bit, Chloe said, “feeling like a princess. I just wanted to do a beautiful, big ball gown, and he is king of the ball gown, so I just had to and I was so excited when I saw this dress.” Well, there’s no denying that she indeed was looking like a princess.

The Met Gala 2022 featured some of the most popular faces in the industry. Sharing the red carpet with Chloe Kim were Kylie Jenner, Kris Jenner, Hailey Bieber, and many more. Eva Chen, the director of fashion partnerships at Instagram, shared a story on her Instagram handle, in which she tagged most of the celebrities present at the event.
Chloe certainly enjoyed the Met Gala as afterward she said, “My table is so amazing, so just, like, getting in there and meeting everyone, what a great night.” Well, it makes sense since not every day you get to hang out with a group of popular celebrities. However, given her rapidly increasing extraordinary accomplishments in sports, Chloe should get used to such lavish events.

What’s with “slut strands”?
Chloe’s dress at the Gala gathered a lot of attention. Though her hairstyle was also complimenting the dress perfectly. The strands in front of her face are known as “slut strands” and help to identify female snowboarders with all the gears, including helmets. However, the Olympic champion seems to not be happy with the nomenclature.
She said, “We need to change the name to beauty strands. I hate the term. Beauty strands make me feel beautiful, and it’s such a cute thing.” Well, that’s a pretty valid argument.
