It is always a big deal for people when they get a chance to see their favorite athletes. It is even more exciting when they randomly bump into a celebrity and get to be candid with them for a while. Such was the case with Amanda Kruman, who ended up meeting with legendary snowboarder Shaun White, and his actress partner, Nina Dobrev.

Fan Hangs Out Shaun White and Nina Dobrev

Shaun White retired after the Beijing Olympics and has since been spending time with his family and friends. The three-time Olympic gold medalist was recently seen in Glyfada, Greece where his Partner, Dobrev, is currently shooting a movie.

Amanda Kruman was out with a friend of hers when she noticed someone familiar sitting at the next table. As and when she realized who it was, Amanda approached them and engaged in some friendly chit-chat which lasted for a full 30minutes!

She took to Twitter to post a photo of her hanging out with the celebrity couple.

In a comment, Amanda recalled the incident. She said that they were sitting right next to her, and she thought that the woman looked like Nina Dobrev. Upon another glance, the man seemed to be Shaun White, and that is when it hit her. “Holy F*** it’s actually them!”, wrote Amanda as she continued, “they were just chillin eating oysters they were so nice we talked for 30 minutes!!!”

In another tweet, Ellie Murphy, a friend of Amanda, expressed her jealousy over the impromptu meet-up.

What is the couple doing now?

Shaun White capped a 20-year-long career with a fourth-place finish in the men’s halfpipe final at the Winter Olympics. The record holder for most Olympic gold medals and Most X Games gold medals as a snowboarder, is currently living a simple life. But, he plans to remain heavily involved with the sport through his company (Whitespace), and as a mentor to the next generation.

Meanwhile, Vampire Diaries Star, Nina Dobrev, has been busy shooting for her upcoming film, The Bricklayer. She has spent the last few weeks in Greece for the same and was last seen in Glyfada. Nina was part a part of the highly acclaimed 2012 film- ‘The Perk of Being a Wallflower‘.
