Shaun Roger White has started a lot of initiatives during the course of his life and career. The 3-time Olympic gold medalist has never shied away from a challenge, as evidenced by his accomplishments. The world has observed White slide into collaborations and initiatives in an action similar to his sporting arena. Shaun White has always shown an interest in trying multiple things. Having a music presence, a document series, and a clothing line to his name, White will stop at nothing. 

White, in all forms, is a miracle child. He overcame a cardiac condition that necessitated two surgeries when he was a baby. Despite having health issues in the beginning, the world witnessed him skating, surfing, skiing, and playing soccer. This time, however, White has something else to give to the world. Choosing to aid an apparel company, White has raised some major capital.

Through White, an Apparel Company Raises $100 Million

Shaun White is known for partnering with big brands like American Express, Target, and Red Bull. But this time, White has decided to provide financial support to a more recent brand. Swag Golf, a golf accessory, equipment, and apparel company, was founded in 2018. Five years from its inception, the company has garnered huge growth funding.

As per reports, the $10 million round for the club and clothing startup, Swag Golf, has some major contributors. Olympic gold medalist Shaun White and NBA player Zach LaVine are two major contributors. The round-up is led by Verance Capital, which collaborates with top businesspeople and management groups and offers early and growth-stage investments in the sports, media, and live entertainment industries.

Based in Northbrook, Illinois, the company wishes to extend its wings in Asia and Oceania. Climate change is a topic that has garnered tremendous views all around the globe. But the 5-time Olympian is actually ready to do something about it. In 2023, Shaun White partnered with High West, a distillery based in Utah, in an effort to support the right cause and give back to society.

A little while back, High West Distillery announced that it would work together with Shaun White to spread awareness of the global warming situation in the West. Since both parties call the West their home, this will serve as motivation to make “Protect the West” a top priority. The effort also intends to protect the West and its lands, preserve its natural habitat, and present the region in all of its beauty to future generations.

White has always been a guy of tremendous concern, as evidenced by his unwavering dedication to worthy causes and growth funding. In a true sense, he has demonstrated that celebrities and athletes are never afraid to make a positive impact on the world.
