Popular American snowboarder Shaun White loves to step out of his comfort zone. This was seen when Shaun pulled off a risky stunt in Antarctica. While the stunt took less than two minutes, it was still deadly. 

The snowboarding champion performed the stunt while on a vacation to Antarctica. As per reports, White’s girlfriend Nina Dobrev also accompanied him on this vacation. While White performed, onlookers effectively began to count the seconds White was in the icy water. A 2023 video depicts the entire stunt from start to finish. 

Description of the shocking stunt and a worrisome reaction 

A 2023 Twitter video shows how braving the cold, White leaps in the water. Swimming smoothly in the chilly waters of Antarctica, White takes confident strokes. The view of the snowy mountains in the background depicts the extreme cold conditions of Antarctica. 

While White is performing this unbelievable stunt, a concerned voice says, “I don’t like it.” In less than two minutes, he swims back to the shore. After returning, White is completely stable and he does not seem impacted by the cold in any way. Clearly, after snowboarding for years, White’s body has gotten used to the cold weather. While the incident clearly shows the former Olympian enjoying himself in retirement, not many fans know about his aspirations. Recently, White spoke about his his thoughts after retirement.

Shaun White talks about his future life after retirement 

During a recent interview, White spoke about how he would like to have his own family. “I would love to be a dad. It’s just something that seems so exciting”, he expressed. He also said that he loved to be around people, and that along with pursuing his various interests, he would love to take care of someone. Clearly, he is enthusiastic to begin his own family. 

Also, in an Instagram story, White made a fun statement – “Retired guy….Will babysit for $.” Evidently, he is keen to try different things, now that he has ample time during his retirement.
