Shaun White reached for the stars at a young age. From competing in the Olympics at the age of 19 to representing both skating and snowboarding worldwide, the three-time Olympic gold winner surely had an absorbing journey. However, White ended his athletic journey soon after reaching the top. As the skater decided to end his professional journey by retiring just at the age of 35.

Now, after one year of ending his athletic journey, White 36 is sharing his journey as a snowboarder with his fans. As, on Thursday, a docu-series based on the athlete’s journey called “Shaun White: The Last Run” was released. Many fans have already watched the four-part docu-series as they showed their excitement for the show through social media.

Shaun White releases a new Docuseries

On July 6, the four-part docuseries “Shaun White: The Last Run,” based on legendary skateboarder Shaun White’s athletic life, was released. The docuseries is released on Maz Zeroes and showcases different phases of White’s journey throughout the series. From being a boy with a heart defect and the fuel to reach the top to bidding goodbye to the sport after reaching the pinnacle.

The Last Run showcases not just the good parts but the reality of the athlete’s journey. According to White, the beauty of this series lies in the fact that The Last Run is not only about his achievements on the slopes but about leaving behind a legacy in skateboarding. Besides this, the series also talks about White’s transition from snowboarding to a full-time business owner.

On Friday, the athlete took to Instagram to promote his docu-series. White posted two pictures on Instagram with the caption “STREAMING NOW!!!! Let’s go!!!” while tagging Max. The first picture of the post showcased the poster for the docu-series, while in the second one, White was seen sitting proudly beside the poster at a promotional event.

Many fans expressed their love for the athlete, as they excitedly talked about watching the show in the comment section.  A few fans also got emotional as they showed their admiration for the athlete’s snowboarding journey.

After the athletes’ promotion post, fans on Instagram were quick to react in the comments section. As one fan emotional after watching the series wrote: “I’m Prepared to Cry.” One fan is already excited for the athlete’s journey in the future, as she wrote “Yeah Shaun best documentary series out there can’t wait to see what you do next in life! Congratulations on the series it was amazing!!!!!”

A fan also congratulated the snowboarder on his achievements as she left a comment: “Congrats again on the career of a lifetime shaun, you’re the best boarder whether it’s skate or snow.” While one fan has already almost finished the series as he penned down the comment, “Just finished the 2nd episode and I’m already sad there’s only 2 left soooo good!!.” 

Moreover, one fan is ready to binge-watch the series tonight, as she wrote, “Watching tonight!”

Shaun White’s journey on the snow can certainly be considered a complex yet intriguing one, and The Last Run does a decent job of highlighting it. Furthermore, this series not only underlines the journey of White but also showcases the life of every athlete who touched the pinnacle in their journey.
