Three-time Olympic gold medalist Shaun White had decided that the 2022 Winter Olympics would be his last. However, during the Winter Games, he decided to hang up his snowboarding gloves once and for all.

Retirement came with benefits, as White finally had more time to himself. The 35-year-old can finally get to check things off his bucket list. Additionally, he is also grateful to be getting more time to spend with his girlfriend, Nina Dobrev.

The two have been dating for three years now, and ever since his retirement, Dobrev and White have been spending more and more time together, as evidenced by their social media profiles.

After his retirement from snowboarding, Shaun White has been using his spare time in hand to increase his bond with Nina Dobrev. White and Dobrev flew to Costa Rica to get closer to the beautiful nature. They have been trying out new adventure sports and horse riding.

Trying out new activities has been a thing for the couple, and they did the same with a spa. Nina Dobrev tried out an unusual mud spa and flaunted the same on her social media. Nina posted several pictures of her applying the special mud to the luxurious venue for the same.

At the Hacienda AltaGracia luxury resorts in Costa Rica, White posted a hilarious video of himself walking around in the spa, excitedly saying “Ouh, what a spa”.

At that point, he panned the camera round to Nina Dobrev, who was laying in the middle of the room covered in clay. Nina simply smiled at the camera and waved, saying “hi,” as if nothing were the matter.

However, it seemed Shaun was unable to wrap his head around seeing his partner caked completely in clay. Thus, Nina’s look rendered Shaun White speechless, and he just continued looking into the camera hilariously with a blank expression on his face.

Nina Dobrev and Shaun have been romantically involved for three years now. The high-profile couple always has countless fans on social media commenting on their pictures, asking the two to tie the knot.

Speaking to Kate Snow from NBC, White shared how Nina and he finally have the chance to spend more time together. In that vein, when asked if marriage was on the horizon, White expressed that he would love to tie the knot.
