Recently, Chloe Kim, along with her miniature Australian Shepherd, Reese has collaborated with Purina Pro Plan to help spread awareness regarding healthy practices that owners need to adopt for their canines. This forms part of the launch of the Pro Plan Million Mile Challenge.

The goal of the program is to encourage dog owners to introduce active routines and establish better nutritional strategies for their pooches.

In an event launch to announce her partnership with Purina Pro Plan, Kim confirmed that Reese leads an athletic life and is keen to accompany her to the gym and even during long hikes.

She added, “We go out everywhere. Whenever I’m driving somewhere, she will come with me.“

When asked about her relationship with Reese, Kim said, “Oh, we’re besties for real. We do everything together.”

Reese was welcomed into the family in 2016 when she was still a puppy. Kim says that her family could not get enough of the miniature Australian shepherd.

She has a busy schedule, and traveling is very much a part of it. However, her family is fond of Reese’s company, which would result in “fights over who gets to watch her, so my sisters will want her, or my parents will want her.”

Kim further added, “And whenever they know I have a trip coming up, they’re like, ‘Oh, who’s going to watch Reese? Can we take Reese?'”

Kim and Reese share a similar passion

During the event, the two-time Olympic snowboarder mentioned all the activities they like to do together.

Kim said, “She loves exploring, sniffing everything, running around.”

She said that they both love to go hiking. “They’re not like an hour. They’re pretty long, like four to five hours.” the snowboarder further added.

Kim began to notice a change in Reese when she put her on a Purina Pro Plan Sport diet. She believes the food contains everything that the dog needs to lead a healthy lifestyle.

The athlete witnessed positive changes in her pet’s stamina and energy levels when she switched to the food. Kim and Reese have collaborated with the brand since to help launch the Pro Plan Million Mile Challenge.

It aims to motivate owners to involve their dogs in walking and similar activity. The movement hopes to reach one million miles of collective dog walking
