The sensational Alex Morgan made her San Diego Wave debut in the Challenge Cup competition. She is one of the best players in the world and continues to play at the highest level, even at 32. However, as for her USWNT compatriot, Megan Rapinoe prepares for her feature in the upcoming season of American political drama, ‘Billions’.

Megan’s acting stint has now raised questions and speculations about Morgan and a possible acting career. Notably, she did speak about the prospects of being a movie star but denied that she will start featuring in movies. As revealed in a recent interview, she is completely focused on soccer for now.

Alex Morgan, to act?

With Rapinoe starting a new acting career, Morgan stated how ‘impressive’ she was by her stint. However, when asked about the possibility of seeing her on the big screen, she opened up on her struggles with acting in school. But, even with no plans to make a career in Hollywood, she did talk a movie out there.

“You know I did acting school in high school. I mean I had literally had to like beg the teacher to give me like a B. Honestly, it was, I mean, it’s pathetic. My performance in front of a camera in that way. I don’t know how to not act myself. So that’s probably part of the problem.”

“But, I think I’ll stick to soccer for now in that regard, and then we’ll see what doors open. However, I have a movie out. It’s called Alex and me. The acting is suspect on my part but amazing actors that I was surrounded by, that at least helped it look professional in that way,” said Morgan.

Rapinoe’s Hollywood debut has impressed Morgan. But with no interest in acting herself, Morgan is currently preparing for the season with her new club, the San Diego Wave.

Rapinoe features in ‘Billions’

In the latest season of ‘Billions’, she appears on the TV show according to The Cinemaholic’. In the TV show, Wendy Rhoades meets with Rapinoe and asks her to join the performance coaching team of the US national side. This is not her first appearance, however. Earlier, she has appeared in the TV series ‘The L Word: Generation Q’.

Clearing the air, even with Rapinoe featuring in tv shows, Morgan has no plans to follow in her footsteps. However, she vows to continue scripting her own story on the field, bringing resounding success to her new team, the San Diego Wave.
