“We’ve Become Friends, Funnily Enough”: David Beckham Once Availed a Special Privilege by His Beloved Friend Snoop Dogg

David Beckham seems to have a knack for unique friendships. That’s one way to put his fated connection with Snoop Dogg. The story of how this suave English soccer icon met this Rastafarian rapper is a story to tell. From hanging out exclusively with each other to giving family advice, this is a story that is guaranteed to make anyone smile.

David has been a promising soccer player during his time, flowing all across the world to get signed with teams. Snoop, on the other hand, is a very known face in the hip-hop and rap scene. Snoop is also known to have a plethora of other unique friendships owning to his frank and funky nature. So, how did these two get along?

David Beckham and Snoop Dogg’s story

Back in 2007, when Beckham was still active and sought soccer player, it so happened that he flew to LA for a deal with the club LA Galaxy. But the two universes collided when Beckham appeared on Snoop’s show as a guest. The rapper and his family had their television series called “Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood”.

The show centered around Snoop’s world with his three kids. It just so happened that Snoop had bragged to his kids that he knew some celebrities including the famous soccer star. Long story short, David was introduced in that episode which aired with the title “Snoop it like Beckham” Both the celebrities turned out to be a fan of each other’s works and they hit it off.

This friendship, completely built on sheer luck has been going strong for 14 years. Snoop has opened up about how valuable their bond is. He said, “I love our friendship and some people in life just come together for some odd reason.”

Beckham also reminisced about some of his pal’s antics like calling the soccer star to the studio to show an unreleased album. But, even after everything, “we’ve become friends, funnily enough,” he said.

Friendships that last a lifetime?

Since their first link in 2007, the duo has raised a lot of eyebrows when it came to the authenticity of their friendship. Naysayers had a lot to say about their lifestyles and interests.

Yet, neither Beckham nor Snoop cares about that. Both of them have deep family values, spend quality time with their children and know each other inside out. And that is the positive energy fans love.
