The athlete has won 11 World Surf League (WSL) titles and also has won 55 event titles. He is the youngest and oldest WSL title winner. With all the glory, Slater is still standing out in the sport of surfing in his 50s.

Being a world-renowned athlete’s wife, Kalani Miller is also at the top of her league. She is the co-founder of MIKOH, a model, an adventurer, and, of course, a surfer too. Recently, she shared something in her Instagram story that she adores a lot.

Taking inspiration about love

Michelle Obama, the former first lady, recently posted a series of pictures with former POTUS Barack Obama and shared her marriage experience, which inspired Miller.

“Caption…so well said,” Miller added “Worth a read.” It appears that she agreed with the former first lady’s post. Miller and Slater have been together for 15 years and their relationship is still going strong. She agrees with the post that Michelle Obama made and wanted her followers to take a look at it.

The relationship between Kelly Slater and Kalani Miller

The surfing legend met Kalani Miller in San Diego over a decade ago, and on their first date in France, they fell for each other. They have been together for 15 years.

Miller once revealed that the reason she fell for the legendary surfer was because of his dedication to the sport. “The other day (and this entire contest) has once again left me in awe of him. I’m so beyond proud of what he has accomplished and the focus, hard work, and truly a lifetime of dedication to the sport. We’ve finally had a few days to decompress and process how special it was,” Miller said after Slater’s win in Hawaii this year.
