The Cook Islands are a group of 15 such islands in the South Pacific. Besides providing scenic beauty and lush natural landscapes, the beaches on these islands also serve as surfing havens. One such island nation, of the 15, is Rarotonga. In the Instagram post, he also attached a video for his fans to see. The video gives viewers an up-and-close view of what a surfer must feel like in the closest proximity to a wave. The 360-degree video wobbles up and down every second, forming a tunnel-like narrow lens, through which everything can be seen in the clip.

Romero also tagged GoPro and GoProMax, the action cameras that made this video possible. Costing somewhere around $500, this specialized camera was the reason behind the lush, crystal-clear imagery in the clip. As beautiful as the scenery was from the middle of the water, equally vibrant was the video that captured it.
