Nathan Fletcher reminisces about the special moments of surfing 

The schedule-restricted and yoga-oriented surfing pro athlete, Nathan Fletcher has posted some of his old photos reminiscing his best memories of surfing. He could be seen enjoying the heavy waves and getting covered in barrels. Nathan expressed his zeal for surfing and wrote, “Being hurt really makes you appreciate all the healthy times!!! Reflecting on some monumental moments in my life… a few more months till I’ll be surfing but really grateful never the less!!”

In 2009, Nathan injured himself while surfing and broke his femur with a 12-inch rod in his leg. And his life-threatening situation landed him in hospital and he was under treatment for a long time. However, this was not the first time he injured himself, after that he again endured an injury while surfing. Nathan had taken a leap from professional surfing and was focusing on his health after the injury. But not for too long, he will be back soon with his phenomenal surfing.

Despite enduring so many injuries during his vocation in surfing, Nathan Fletcher always feels drawn towards the ocean. He says one can be an adult with numerous responsibilities, but as soon as one touches the ocean, the six-year-old child comes out. In an interview with the Travel Channel, Nathan expressed his zest for surfing and said, “There’s nothing more refreshing for your soul.”
