Kelly Slater shares a copacetic role behind the new surfing destination?

Kelly Slater caught the attention back in June of this year. At that time, his surfing company, Kelly Slater Wave Co., partnered with Modon Properties to create something never seen before, marking the first step in bringing Surf Abu Dhabi to life.

The initial stages of development were challenging, but the company, owned by the 11-time World Surfing champion, used its expertise to address issues such as the degradation of coral reefs.

However, the rest of the doubts quickly evaporated when Kelly himself jumped into the water to surf. The waves in the pool, spanning 51 million square meters, finally caught the attention of the legendary surfer. His reaction came out in his voice on Instagram. Some of his lines went as, ?I?ve surfed hundreds of incredible waves across the world and this wave in Abu Dhabi stacks up well against some of the best waves on earth.? It was enough to blow the proportion out.???

Fans and travelers gush about the legend?s reaction

The Instagram post of Surf Abu Dhabi saw a wave of comments from different corners. Some of it caught the best moods. One user account with the name, the-sea-salt-tour, came with an eclectic expression, ?It is mind blowing to consider that many people in the region still don?t really even know about surfing.Imagine if your first experience of seeing someone ride a wave would be this! ??. ?Another user, laybackvisuals praised the pool highly, ?One of the best waves I?ve ever seen, not to mention the facility itself. Absolutely world class?.?

Some reactions were also not the best to set the mood. The user account, twotreesvisuals summed up the pool as similar to the pool based Lemoore owned by Kelly Slater. The brukuns user account also thought in the same way with the sentences, ?Looks exactly like the surf ranch but with a different backdrop. Whatever.? However, the lack of wealth to try the pool got the laudatory post off-guarded. ?The post from hana2hanaleigoldens went like, “Amazing Kelly Now We Just Need Couple Thousand More so us regular folk can surf too and maybe some stand up barrel size ? ? If Every City had one we’d shrink lineups in ocean and That would be epic ??.?

However, the world?s largest pool has a recommendation directly from the man who has almost all surfing records in his bag. Now, the acceptance depends on the fans.
